ATTENDANCE:

Any session missed due to personal reasons or illness is non-refundable. Please notify your child’s absence by 12pm on the day of the session (unless it is an emergency). Joga sessions are customised for your child’s needs, hence there is planning and preparation in order to deliver the best for their growth. If unable to attend, a catch-up session with an alternative group can be arranged.

Any session cancelled due to wet weather is non-refundable and will be subject to the decision of EHUFC. A catch-up session will be provided on an alternative night or weekend morning, within a week’s notice.

In the unfortunate circumstance of a child sustaining a long-term injury, credit will be provided for the consecutive sessions missed, with the provision of a doctor’s medical certificate or a diagnostic report from a physiotherapist. Any report from a physiotherapist will be beneficial in helping us assist your child with strength and reconditioning through static and mobile exercises on the road to recovery.

If you are planning any extended travel during the term, please provide notice at the beginning of the term so you are not billed for the given time frame.

STANDARDS OF PLAY:

Please arrive at least 5-10min before starting time to prepare for your session - stretching, warm-up, juggling, team bonding.

Each player must have their own water bottle filled up before the commencement of our session. It is important to challenge the stamina, aerobic capacity/efficiency (VO2 max) and decision-making under fatigue, so they must be responsible for their own hydration.

Use of toilet/amenities is the responsibility of the player prior to the commencement of your session. Toilet breaks disrupt the flow and momentum during the session, so we can try to limit such interruptions by being proactive (unless necessary or the player is feeling ill).

For players carrying any injury/pain, please disclose to me before the start of your session so I can manage/monitor your loading. In the same vein, I can assist you with stretching/strengthening techniques and dynamic/mobile exercises for injury prevention or recovery.

Players must be supportive and open to learning together. Football is a warm and accepting place for everyone. Any discouraging behaviour towards your peers will not be tolerated.

Competitive spirit is encouraged in a healthy manner - so we continually take care of one another, grow together and prioritise learning. Any behaviour driven solely by “winning/losing” and undermines development is considered unhealthy - we will learn to transform such energy into a more positive scope in our shared space.

SAFETY:

In the case of any injury/accident during the session, we have access to First Aid. As the head coach, I have a valid First Aid Certificate to attend to the player or will be supported by an accredited First Aid member of EHUFC committee (if more time/attention is needed).
